SNOW Exhibit - Creative Direction
As Creative Director, I led the development of Snow: Tiny Crystals, Global Impact, an award-winning interactive exhibition exploring the science, structure, and cultural significance of snow. Through immersive environments and hands-on experiences, the exhibition invites visitors to examine snow from crystal to watershed — revealing its essential role in ecosystems, climate regulation, and community life. Integrating scientific research with stories from Inupiaq elders, the project frames snow not as scenery, but as a dynamic system that connects people, place, and planet. Snow is many things: solid; liquid; and at times even gas…We leaned into making the physical infrastructure of this exhibit be sculptural and having a presence that was physically engaging. There are interactives that bridge physical and digital, spatially, as well as physical puzzles, places you can pull out core samples to examine crystal structures, and more.
